Incident Management Procedures
EXAMPLE - IMP 1: INCIDENT ORGANISATIONAL STRUCTURE
General. The basic organisational structure below represents a suitable model to effectively respond to an emergency situation or major incident. Each team has specific roles and responsibilities for dealing with an incident. Teams are composed of those members of staff with skills that best suit directed tasks.
Close liaison between teams is imperative to ensure timely and appropriate information flow and corrective action during an incident. To this end, each team must nominate a staff member and deputy to carry out this important function.
